How can we understand what people need to do to meet new business goals and changing job requirements?
Job Design Process Analysis:
Structures the work flow of a job function using an innovative mapping process which:
- Analyzes work flow, primary work processes, resource requirements and escalation points.
- Identifies pinch points, red flags, and opportunities for work process improvement.
- Provides a framework for problem and cause analysis.
- Identifies relationships between work units and opportunities for cross training.
- Contributes insights to improving work unit integration and communication between core business functions.
Competency Mapping
The DACUM Occupational Analysis is short for "Develop A Curriculum". A DACUM map, facilitated by a certified
DACUM leader:
- Visually organizes the job function into areas of competency and their corresponding KSA's (knowledge, skills, attributes).
- Provides a tool for performance assessment and career planning.
- Provides the basis for a Curriculum Architecture and performance-based learning
- Assists in defining selection requirements, promotion requirements, training needs, coaching and performance management practices, career planning, reward and recognition practices.
